Our Mandate
Building bridges between government services and diverse communities through accessible communication.
Our Vision
Every resident should be able to access city services in their preferred language, without barriers or delays.
We believe that language should never be a barrier to accessing essential services. In a diverse country like Canada, where over 200 languages are spoken, government and nonprofit organizations need tools that make them truly accessible to all residents.
Our mission is to break down these communication barriers, one phone call at a time, ensuring that every resident feels heard, understood, and served by their local government.
Our Team
Ryan
Founder & CEO
With a background in municipal technology and a passion for inclusive service delivery, Ryan founded Preservons to solve a real problem he witnessed in city government: residents who couldn't access services because of language barriers.
Why We Built This
The story behind our mission to make government services truly accessible.
The Problem We Saw
During our work with city governments, we consistently observed the same pattern: residents who didn't speak English or French fluently would avoid calling city offices entirely, even when they had urgent needs or important questions.
These residents would either rely on family members to translate, wait for in-person appointments with interpreters, or simply go without the services they needed. This created a significant gap in service delivery and left entire communities underserved.
Our Solution
We built Preservons to bridge this gap by making phone translation accessible, affordable, and easy to implement. Our service works with existing phone systems, requires no new hardware, and can be activated in minutes.
By removing the language barrier from phone calls, we're helping government and nonprofit organizations serve their communities more effectively, while ensuring that every resident has equal access to the services they need.
